	The Lighthouse Pub was founded in 2297 by Oliver Locke, an English expatriate who'd moved to San Francisco when his husband had entered Starfleet Academy. It is styled after the pubs of London and the United Kingdom, and he ran it successfully for five years. When his husband received a posting on a ship that allowed family, he passed ownership to a young woman who'd been his employee since the beginning, Kathleen Sweeney. It has stayed in her family since then. She ran it personally until 2358 when she passed it onto her grandson, Warren Ashcroft, though she still worked for another ten years to help him settle in.
