The USS Gral is an Intrepid-class starship, under the command of Tellarite Captain Mirol Brengan since 2406, the date of its most recent refit and overhaul.
It was named for long-serving Federation Councilman Borreshk Gral, representative for Tellar Prime, who was famous for his oratory skill and singular devotion to justice. Borreshk's own namesake was Ambassador Gral of Tellar Prime, who was instrumental in the formation of the Coalition of Planets.
