Disguise Kit

The disguise kit - or Appearance Modification Device (AMD) - was specifically designed to assist operatives in the field with temporary disguises where full cosmetic modification by a doctor is unavailable. The AMD is housed within a large, reinforced case that allows for transportation in the field to the designated control area. The AMD has an in-built computer on the left hand partition and, from the use of specially designed software, allows the user to design a 3D model of the face they require. This construction process can use photographs, real-time scanning and generic components in order to create the desired facial pattern. Once the user’s facial dimensions are scanned and inputted, the central unit of the box constructs the mask using a specially modified holographic latex polymer which is printed from replicated materials.

The mask that is created is designed specifically for the user and adheres to the face.

The right-hand partition of the AMD allows for a voice changing diode to be constructed and the correct patterns to be downloaded into it. This affixes directly to the skin underneath the mask.

Once applied, the mask is indistinguishable from normal skin, unless the wearer is caused damage to the facial area, which will disrupt the holographic matrix weave of the latex polymer. The AMD contains enough materials to create 36 masks in the field before requiring maintenance, charge and resupply.
