The tri-weave bodysuit consists of an outer and inner layer constructed from a tritanium-dipped tri-weave fiber mesh, with the MR-fluid based body armor filling a thin layer in the middle. The fluidic layer comprises of tritanium particles, suspended in an oily liquid that harden on impact through piezoelectric currents creating a magnetic field when the armor is struck with force. This hardening effect, allows for greater protection for the wearer while still giving them full movement and flexibility.

The accompanying wrist computer is built into one of the gauntlets which allows for control over the environmental conditions of the suit, along with providing controls for compatible technologies (personal cloak/transporter and intelligence tricorder etc).

The full face mask for the suit is distinguished by three cylinders that cover each eye and one smaller one which sits in the middle of the forehead. These emit different color lights depending on the user preference, and provide a number of vision modes as well as a HUD displaying health and combat data taken from the sensors built into the suit. In addition, the HUD can display the tricorder readings allowing the user to remain 'hands free'. In built, is a personal communicator set to a rotational frequency that remains connected with other suit wearers and/or the ship. Finally, the suit has the ability of protecting the user from space, chemicals and other pathogens in the same way an EVA suit functions.

The Starfleet Intelligence Combat Operations Stealth Suit is an advanced light-weight body armor and anti-detection suit designed for field operations. It is designed with flexible plates, overlaying a magnetoheological fluid (MR-fluid) layer and incorporating some of the latest technology and protective measures Starfleet has to offer, without displaying any visible or identifiable markers. Due to the suit's complex nature and the high risk environments they are deployed in, each suit is tailored specifically for its wearer. The onboard computer system is designed to supplement an agent's senses in the field and integrate with a number of specialized intelligence tools.

Optional equipment designed to integrate with the suit include:

Armor

The tri-weave bodysuit consists of an outer and inner layer constructed from tritanium-dipped tri-weave fiber mesh, with the MR-fluid based body armor filling a thin layer in the middle. The fluidic layer comprises of tritanium particles suspended in an oily liquid that harden on impact through piezoelectric currents creating a magnetic field when the armor is struck with force. This hardening effect allows for greater protection for the wearer while still giving them full movement and flexibility.

Onboard Computer Systems

The integrated computer system is the heart of the suit, running the environmentals, HUD, integrated encrypted communicator, and interfaces with equipment designed for field work. Tactile controls are integrated into the gauntlet of the wearer's preferred wrist, and the voice interface can be optionally configured with a selection of vocal shortcuts for frequently used commands or quick access in emergency situations. The suit can also be synced with anywhere from one to five other suits for communication, data sharing, and location sync, using low power highly directional data bursts; the range is limited by line of sight but can be extended by use of the Little Big Probes.

The HUD is highly customizable to best suit the wearer's needs. With the ability to control illumination color and brightness, placement of both emergency and persistent notifications, and has a number of optional tools available such as text translation, map and navigation, and outlining synced suits to keep track of your away team members. It will also display data from any of the linked devices.
