The Crab Shack

The Crab Shack is a nightclub in Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco. Downstairs it is a 24/7 seafood restaurant, done in a touristy style — the outside of the building in wrapped in faux-weathered wood that looks like it was scavenged from a wrecked ship, and inside is brightly lit with a mix of smooth and easy to clean surfaces and more of the faux-weathered wood. When the club is open, party lights spill down the stairway that ascends from the restaurant dining room up into the club, and a bouncer sits at the bottom of the stairs.

It is a favorite among the SF Noise scene, with Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights typically featuring live noise sets. It's considered the home club for DJ ghe'naQ, and it's rare he doesn't do at least two sets a month there.
